One month ago, the church asked the question, “who are you?” Now we are asking, “who are we as a church.” This question has been around since the church began. Early Christians often wrote to Paul to try and figure out what it meant to be a follower of Jesus. one thing is clear. The church was moved, empowered, and inspired by the Holy Spirit. It endowed each individual with spiritual gifts. These gifts could be preaching, teaching, singing, generosity, healing or many other qualities. Each of these must be done with love in our hearts. We are the church. We are the body of Christ. Each has a part to play in the church. Who is God calling us to be now?
