March 1 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Centering Prayer is an ancient Christian practice that shares many features with practices in other world religions. It is done in silence and we spend 20 minutes in prayer. If you have never done centering prayer please arrive at 6:15 p.m. for a brief orientation. After the silent prayer we engage in another form of centering prayer called Lectio Divina which is a meditation upon a passage of scripture. The scripture is usually the one which will be the text for the sermon the coming Sunday.
