Pilgrim hosted a town hall meeting on the environment. During the first part of the meeting, Pilgrim Children’s Center and Pilgrim Church Sunday School showed the banners the children created. Speakers from Clean Earth for Kids, Sierra Club My Generation, and Sierra Club NC Coastal spoke about several environmental issues. The topic of our environment is of the utmost importance. This crisis affects our community, country, and planet. We concluded with U.S. Representative Mike Levin speaking and then having a Q and A.
