Today is Coming Out Sunday. Our reading from Paul reminds us that love never ends. The community of Corinth was divided just as we are divided today. The various churches tried to show their devotion to God. Their works can be distorted if these works are not done in love. We have come a long way yet we must continue to strive forward. Some people would seek to undermine our progress and take away the rights of those in the LGBTQ+ community based on religious grounds. Love is not illegal. Putting love first, second, and last is our goal. All are one in Christ.
