On this World Communion Sunday, we celebrate our connection to all our brothers and sisters around the world. We begin with a song to bring us to a place of reflection so we can appreciate today’s message. We are reminded that mothers throughout time have told us that we need to look out for one another. The world can be a dangerous place. We need to be a good neighbor. Even with our great technology, we, in the U.S., do not hear or know what goes on in other countries. Church partnerships help connect us and broaden our experience with other cultures. By coming together, we expand our awareness of God. Justice issues cross borders. We get in the way of those seeking more power. Know what you stand for and stand your ground. By joining together , we are stronger.
