The readings today are meaningful to our guest speaker. We have all wished, at some point in our lives, to be able to fly. Throughout history, humans have had a fascination with flying. We dream of escaping our troubles by flying away just like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. During our darkest moments, God comes to lift us up again and renew our spirit. When we are in need of renewal, we humbly ask to Lord for help. Sometimes, we must be patient. We must allow God to take control of our lives. We must allow God to help us get rid of the baggage we have acquired throughout our lives. With God , all things are possible.
