Today, our Youth Minister, gives us words of wisdom. We gather as one church even though we are physically apart. We are thankful for the technology that allows us to be a community. Rev. Armes shares her journey of faith. The parable today emphasizes action, love, and service. We should follow Jesus’s example on how to live as Christians. God requires us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. We hope that we are the sheep in the story but it makes us wonder that, perhaps, we might be the goats. How we treat each other is the most important lesson from this parable. Sounds simple but can be one of the most difficult things to do. It is hard to love your enemies. The question we are asked each day is what are we doing to follow Jesus’s example. Love your neighbor even when it is hard.
