Over the last 4-5 years, we have seen individuals who practice the same religion believe two different views of the world. Some Christians have come to believe in some unusual ideas. One example of this is QAon. A person going by the name Q, who is supposedly a top U.S. official, post messages about the “truth” of what is really going on in the world. Trump is battling a deep state cabal with celebrity allies who are involved in child trafficking and satanic rituals. Followers believed Trump was robbed in the election due to fighting this cabal. On January 6th, they believed Trump would rise again. When that did not happen, the followers thought January 20th would be the day. They still believe Trump is their “messiah”. This is not the first movement where followers are waiting for a messiah who did not come. Some of these movements are still with us today. We are still here. We cannot talk QAon followers out of their belief. Paul reminds us that truth and intellect does not matter, only distracts. Our true strength is love. Knowledge puffs up but love builds up. God notices us for our love, not our intellect. Our ultimate goal is to love one another.
