Building on last week’s sermon, we continue the discussion of shaking up our daily lives. We must renounce our privilege, resist evil, and rebel.  What now? What sort of rebellion and how far should it go? The reading today tells us about Jesus doing things on the Sabbath that were against the law. When confronted, he asks what is the law if it does not do justice. You should not do nothing and let injustice exist. If a law does not serve justice, it must be changed. If the system does not serve justice, it must be changed. This can seem daunting.  We can dream of things that have never been and ask why not. Faith helps us not be crushed by doubt and do the impossible. Find that which you doubt will ever come to be but that you have faith must come to be. Fight for this!
